There are many news stations, cable TV news and local television stations that are viewed daily. Do you really think any of these stations are bipartisan? Do you think they are after ratings? Breaking down the news that you see, read or hear is a task within itself. Most people think that Journalist have a code of ethics and they do. The Journalism code of ethics is posted on the website of Professional Society of Professional Journalists and is clear and concise, Seek Truth and Report It. “Journalists should be honest, fair and courageous in gathering, reporting and interpreting information.”
Journalism today has turned into RATINGS, yes RATINGS! If you watch any of the channels they are only interested in this because this is what drives income to the station. If the station is watched more than any other station, they will get the most ads. More ads = more income and more income = higher paid anchors, CEO’s, researchers, producers, etc.
